Fort Frederik
Dates back to the 1700's and is Governor General Peter Von Scholten read the site where the proclamations abolishing slavery in 1848. It holds a museum and art gallery and is open weekends from 8:30 am to 4 p.m Admission free, but a $1 donation from adults is welcomed.

Cruzan Rum Distillery
Take a tour of the Curzan Rum Facory, which has been producing rum for more than 300 years and,

Estate Whim Plantation Museum
Frederiksted
A restored example of life on a sugar plantation in the 1800s, this site features a great house filled with reproductions of colonial furniture, three-foot-thick walls made of stone, coral and molasses, plus the original sugar processing plant and windmill. Buck Island Reef National Monument
St. Croix, North Shore, West
Lying 1.5 miles off the northeast coast of St. Croix, this 880-acre national monument includes 176 acres of land surrounded by 704 acres of water and coral reef system; it is a paradise for snorkelers, and the deep grottos and labyrinths are perfect for experienced scuba divers to explore.
